Itinerary and details:
Day – 01 – we will drive from Kathmandu to Kakarvitta. Our assistant guide will receive us at – India border Kakarbhitta – He will be assisting for the transfer to Gangtok – Gangtok the capital of Sikkim Suits all from tranquility to adventure, land of monastery, mystic rituals & festivals at an height of 1670 meters / 5480 feet and is the most visited spot of India. It is one of the most beautiful town with varieties of Rhododendron, Orchids and butterflies – Nearly 135 kilometers 5 – 6 hours drive – Check into hotel – Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center – over Night stay at Gangtok.
Day – 02 – Morning breakfast – full day sightseeing tour of Gangtok – Visit to Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Research Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), Enchey Monastery, White Hall, Flower Show, View Points, Botanical Garden, etc – back to hotel – evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center – There are few discotheques & Casinos in Gangtok to spend time – evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center – overnight stay at Gangtok
Day – 03 – Breakfast – Transfer to Darjeeling – Nearly 135 Kilometers 4 – 5 hour’s drive – – At an height of 2123 meters / 70001 feet lies the land of breathtaking beauty, sloping tea gardens with spectacular views of the MountKanchendzonga is the Queen of the hills – It is also home to the famous World Heritage train Toy Train(UNESCO) – Check into hotel – Evening free to roam around Mall or local Shopping center – over night stay at Darjeeling.
Day – 04 – Early Morning breakfast – full day sightseeing tour includes – Tiger Hill, Ghoom Monastry & Batasia Lool (War Memorial), Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Ropeway, Tenzing – Gombu Rock, Beautiful Tea Estate (Garden), Lebong Race Course, Japanese Temple – other places of visit are Peace Pagoda, Lal kothi, Dhirdham Temple, Ava Art Gallery, Natural History Museum (Sunday Closed) – back to hotel – evening free to visit around Mall or the Local market area – overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day – 05 – Early Breakfast – transfer to Nepal/India Border Pashupati Nagar – Change vehicle & drive to Illam – afternoon reach Illam – hotel check in – free for own activities or sightseeing Tea Garden, View Tower, Narayan Temple, Singhabahini Temple & market etc – overnight stay at Illam.
Day – 06 – Breakfast – Transfer to Janakpur via Dharan sightseeing Buddha Subba Temple, Dantakali Temple, Panchakanya Temple & Dharan Bazar– after sightseeing proceed to Janakpur – JANAKPUR – Janakpurdham, is one of the historical and religious cities of Nepal. Janakpur has a substantial tourism industry due to its significance in the Hindu religion and is home to the only operational railway in Nepal, historically called Mithilanchal, is the centre of the ancient Maithil Art & culture, which has its own language and script. The most important historical reference to Mithila/Janakpur is in the Hindu epic Ramayana, where Lord Rama’s wife Sita (also called Janaki) is said to have been the princess of Videha. Her father, King Janak, found baby Sita in a furrow of a field and raised her as his daughter. As Rama and Sita are major figures in Hinduism, Janakpur is an important pilgrimage site for Hindus – arrival transfer at Janakpur – hotel check in – Janakpur sightseeing – overnight stay Janakpur.
Day – 07 – Early in the morning before breakfast visit Janaki Temple (Naulakha Mandir), Ram Mandir & Vivaha Mandap, Bhutnath Temple, Ganga Sagar (Pond), Dhanush Sagar (Pond), Sankat Mochan Temple & Nari Kala Kendra (Mithila Art & Culture Centre) – back to hotel – breakfast – transfer to Pokhara – evening reach Pokhara.
