Kalinchowk trekking belongs to the Rowling trekking region. This trek is lies in the eastern part of Nepal and is known for its immense natural beauty. Those who go for the Kalinchowk trekking can enjoy panoramic views of Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Lampung, Jugal Himal, Shisha Panga, Gauri Shankar etc. Kalinchowk Bhagawati temple is at 3780m – the highest altitude of this trek. This temple is named after the Hindu Goddess Kali. The Kalinchowk trek begins and ends at Charikot in Dolakha district. Kalinchowk trek is ideal for the exploration of culture as well as natural beauty. Kalinchowk trek is one of the most amazing trekking trails in Nepal. Kalinchowk trekking is ideal for those who enjoy geographical wonders, religious places and medieval culture.

Another highlight of Kalinchowk trek Dolakha is to visit Kalinchok Bhagawati temple and the view of the illuminated Kathmandu valley at night. Those who go for Dokakha Kalinchok Bhagawati temple experience an environment of unusual solitude. Even the novice trekkers can go for this trekking. Those who are physically as well as mentally healthy and prepared to walk for a few hours daily can very well undertake newly opened trekking trail. Those who want to enjoy the panoramic views of the Himalayas may go to Kathmandu and from their can take either of the two trekking routes to Kalinchowk – Barabise or Charikot, both these are amazing trails. The trekkers get the opportunity to know about the lifestyle and culture of different communities. The trekkers have to cross a few villages to reach Kalinchowk. These villages are inhabited by Brahmins, Tamangs and Sherpas.The two natural springs Sundhara and Tama originate from Kalinchowk. These springs are the main sources of the two major rivers Sunkoshi and Tamakoshi. On the Charikot –Kalinchowk trail one can see the Rhododendron forest and various species of birds including Pheasant the national bird of Nepal. Thuloptal village is the last part of Kalinchowk trekking. On their way to Kalinchowk the hikers can view Sunkoshi River as well as Mt. Gauri Shankar. The local people at Thuloptal always welcome the tourists to visit prominent Bhagawati temple of the Hindus Goddess of Kali.

Day 02: Kathmandu city tours and preparation for Kalinchowk trek.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Barbise.

Day 04: Trek from Barbise to Ahgeri Kharka.

Day 05: Trek from Ahgeri Kharka to Bigu Gumba.

Day 06: Trek from Bigu Gumba to Sighate.

Day 07: Rest day at Sighate for acclimatization.

Day 08: Trek from Sighate to Junggepati.

Day 09: Trek from Junggepati to Kalipokhari.

Day 10: Trek from Kalipokhari to Kalinchowk (3790m).

Day 11: Trek from Kalinchowk than to Charikot Bazaar.

Day 12: Drive from Charikot to Kathmandu, evening farewell dinner.

How do I know a reservation is accepted or confirmed?

Once you complete your booking, you will be sent a copy of your booking reservation by email. (Check your spam or junk mail folder to make sure your confirmation e-mail was not blocked.) This is proof that your booking is final, and there is no further need to contact us to confirm your reservation.
You can also check details or your bookings by signing in to your account and going to your Manage your bookings page.
If you are not registered with WalkNepal.com, you can look up your booking confirmation by last name and either your credit card number used for the reservation or the itinerary or confirmation number (sent to you via e-mail).

What should I do if I didn't receive a confirmation email after making my reservation?

Sometimes our booking confirmations aren’t successfully received as your email provider may be treating our message as “spam,” or it may have bounced back as at the time of booking the mailbox had exceeded its limit etc. Not to worry: you can view and print your booking online by logging in and following the “Bookings” link from the homepage.
If no bookings are displayed online, or you don’t have an online account and didn’t write down your itinerary number, please call us and our advisors will be happy to resend you a confirmation by email.

Can I change or cancel my non-refundable booking?

Yes, you can. We won’t charge you for this, but your payment won’t be refunded in case of following conditions. Check the terms and conditions of your booking.

  1. Before 24 hours 100% refund.
  2. After 24 hours 50% refund
  3. After arrival of the customer at the service site 0% refund i.e. non refundable.if the booked ticket is cancelled due to any of the reasons of the company, such ticket shall be postponed to next hike or shall returned the entire amount to booking agent.
